Getting to Campus
By Metro
Georgetown is not directly serviced by Metro, but the University operates a shuttle bus service to and from the Rosslyn and Dupont Circle Metro stations.
By City Bus
The D3 and D6 city bus routes (timetables) include a stop on Reservoir Road, immediately outside Medical Center Entrance #1 (see map).
By Taxi
Most taxi drivers should be able to locate Georgetown University Hospital without need for directions. If necessary, the closest cross-street is Reservoir Road and 38th Street, NW. Ask to be let out at Entrance #3 (see map).
By Car
Detailed driving directions and maps are available. Paid hourly parking is available in the Leavey Center Parking Garage and the Hospital Visitor Parking Lot (see map).
Finding the Lab
We are located on the West Podium level of the New Research Building within the Georgetown University Medical Center. The building has two entrances, one on the Ground level and another on the Podium (second floor) Level.
Ground Entrance
From the Visitor Parking lot or the bus stop, walk west between the Leavey Center and the Medical Center. At the traffic area in front of the Lombardi Cancer Center, follow the path west (keep the Yates Field fence on your left). You will pass a fish pond on your right. When you reach the road, the Research Building entrance is the farthest on the left. Once you have entered the building, the stairs will be behind the second door on the left. Go up one flight and look for room WP01.

Proceed straight (south) across the plaza. Pass Building D on your right and a fountain on your left. Continue straight to the Research Building. (There are several benches immediately outside the entrance.) After entering the building, proceed through the glass doors to the right, then go straight to room WP01.
